Arkadiki Melissokomia, a purely family business, has been active in the field of beekeeping since 1981. Its founders are Ioannis and Vassilis Gritzalis. The central facilities of 4,500 square meters are spread over a privately owned area of 30 acres in Leontari, Arcadia, while four (4) branches operate in the prefecture of Attica, two (2) in the prefecture of Thessaloniki and one (1) in Arta, with a total coverage of approximately 7,000 square meters. Kyklopas
Kyclopas S.A. is a family business that started its course several generations ago. Argyris Kelidis has known the world of olives since he was a small child alongside his father and mother. With solid foundations and excellent knowledge bequeathed to him, he decided with his wife Niki Kelidou and their now family to create their own olive press in 1982.
The Kyklopas olive press is built in Makri, in one of the oldest olive groves in the Mediterranean, next to the cave of Homer's Kyklopas and the ancient Egnatia Odos. Reaching today, the Kelidis family, after constant information, passion and love for what they do, now cultivate 12,000 olive trees and 2,000 organic cultivation of the local variety. They produce the Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil, the most awarded extra virgin olive oil in Greece.

Proud Farm Producer Group P.C.
Proud Farm was established at the end of 2018 with the aim of developing new technologies and creating alternative models of rearing and entering new sheep and goat farming. It is a founding member of the Mediterranean Agri-Food Centre, the Innovation formation partnership Inofa (Internet of Food Alliance) and the first non-profit Energy Community Proud Farm. It is also the first start-up in Western Macedonia, registered in the national database of Elevate Greece. Inspired and implemented in cooperation with the reception and Solidarity Center of the municipality of Athens, the Proud Life program, for the employment of guests of the multifunctional homeless center, in selected livestock enterprises. In 2020 she was awarded the first prize in the Venture Impact Awards organized by the Hellenic Initiative, while at the same time she was selected by the Ministry of Rural Development as a flagship rural enterprise in the framework of the project “integrated communication plan of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020”.
At the same time, it has begun the effort to reverse the conditions of the economic system that invites young people to invest significant amounts for their entry into sheep and goat farming, and to highlight a model that will be fed and able to create sustainable producers with minimal capital, through the establishment of the first incubator of sheep and goat farming in the world. This is the only effort in sheep and goat farming organized at this level and has a clear social orientation. The structure of the incubator will itself be a product that can be reproduced in different areas. The social dimension will be the vehicle for the more efficient development of the network, the securing of raw materials and the promotion of the products produced.
Proud Farm operates as the first distributor of sheep and goat milk, collecting and reselling from producers in the region. In addition, it presents first in the Greek market the organic fertilizer from sheep's wool, initially processing Greek wool in Austria, and then developing its own production unit in Kozani. It creates in cooperation with the American Agricultural School the educational platform for elementary and high school children "Farm in order" and develops the first integrated system for the calculation of livestock income, in order to promote it to livestock in Greece and abroad.
Proud Farm has developed an integrated farm management model based on sustainable intensification to maximize the benefit to the producer while minimizing the environmental footprint and maximizing animal welfare.
Its future plans include the processing of the produced and collected sheep's and goat's milk for the marketing of fresh milk and yogurt, the creation of a unit of innovative nutritional supplements for sheep and goats, the certification of the management model of livestock enterprises that it applies to its farms and the creation of a network of zookeepers to provide support and livestock management services.
