The Project

The InoFA GCC project addresses the digital transformation of the agri-food supply chain. The structure of EUs was designed so that each EU can serve specific functions and areas of the chain. The following is a description of EUs and the products/services produced within them.

Project Description

Digital integration of information is an important tool to save time and resources in order to keep the supply chain running smoothly. Nowadays, the information generated by the production of a food, its processing, distribution and final sale to consumers is valuable and could be used to achieve improvement both at a technical level (fewer failures and problems of quality and quantity of products) as well as financially (minimizing losses and maximizing results) of the companies involved. This proposal describes supply chain digital transformation projects. Each individual Unit of Work in this proposal is also an independent business plan that serves specific needs of the companies involved and comes to provide a complete solution using and integrating high technology in their daily operation. Because the companies themselves have described the problem and the proposed solution, it is expected that its contribution will be very important in achieving the expected results and we aspire that this project will be an important step towards the digital transformation and the transition of the agri-food supply chain of our country to a new era that will be characterized by the assimilation of new technologies in the service of sustainability and the progress of all those involved in agri-food. In full coordination with central European policies, pro-environmental practices are integrated into business operations with an emphasis on primary production and operating conditions in an intelligent working environment. All the actions of the proposal take place between members of the SCC working together for a common purpose and for the joint development of solutions.
